Welcome isn’t just a mobile coffee cart. Founded by June Haupts, Welcome is a social experience, celebrating every race, honoring every gender identity, and toasting to all folks within the LGBTQ+ community. Welcome. For anyone, anywhere, anytime.

The CLIENT

June had already established an impactful, recognizable brand when she reached out to us for packaging. At project start, we gathered Welcome’s existing branding and identified opportunities to grow, making sure any additional contributions fell within this larger system, intuitively and expansively.

The project

The coffee industry is booming. In a time where new roasters are emerging daily, it’s no longer just about the quality of coffee, but the quality of the brand. More than ever, consumers are gravitating towards full coffee experiences that reflect an ethos they are proud to represent. 

In developing a new visual style for packaging, we needed to make sure Welcome’s unique brand proposition shone through. At its core, what sets Welcome apart is being supremely authentic, and inclusive for all.

Valuing strength in diversity

We established visual guidelines to keep packaging scalable and consistent, while also encouraging a quirkiness that felt genuine to the brand.

Warmth

Welcome packaging should be positive, optimistic, and full of vibrancy, without feeling forced or obtrusive. In other words, peppy, caffeinated, and mighty.

Energetic

The essence of Welcome will always set a high standard: quality coffee, attention to detail, and thoughtfully-crafted mobile experiences unique to every occasion.

Elevated

Welcome has never been a brand to shy away from innovation. Along with consistency and quality comes fun. We take ourselves seriously, but not too seriously. 

Creative
